The Secret History Emerges
The Secret History was formed in 2007 by songwriter Michael Grace Jr, of My Favorite, with vocalist Lisa Ronson, daughter of Bowie guitarist, and glam rock legend Mick Ronson. The Secret History continues as a vehicle for Grace's myth and monster laden storytelling, which sprawls across a dreamlike landscape part New York, part Italy, part Nowhere.

Their "Desolation Town" EP is out now via iTunes and Darla by appointment of Le Grand Magistery.

NPR's Song of the Day
Rose Melberg's "Take Some Time" is the featured song for May 19, 2006, on National Public Radio.

"As lovely and bittersweet as 'Take Some Time' gets, it's Nick Krgovich's sly minor-key piano line that grants the song its status as a major-league tearjerker."

Telescopes #4 out now on Antenna
The Telescopes have just released their fourth album on their own label, Antenna Records.

NME: You've got to admire the Telescopes for doing what they want, when they want. This is only their 4th album in 16 years and, ironically, when the feedback-laced shoegazing sound they once pioneered has once again become fashionable, they're quite literally, in another universe altogether creating some incredible and genuinely scary music.

And thus, by all rights, that chapter should be closed."

Obviously, we at Double Agent are devastated by the loss of our cult heroes. We will love them all forever. You may post your comments here: myspace.com/myfavoriteforever
